ACCOUNT OPENED CREDIT AGREED

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCOUNT

(‘The Buyer’) should retain a copy for file

Orders:

a) will be accepted by us as an order to supply the goods described.
b) will be treated as an order on the Buyer’s account, consequently these terms of account will apply to the supply of goods. No other terms will apply.
c) We accept written or verbal orders.
d) Minimum order value is £50.00. If an order totals less, the Buyer will be charged a minimum order charge of £5.00.

PAYMENT

a) Payment of the invoiced sum due to the Seller shall be made no later than 30 days after the invoice date. b) Buyer will be responsible for any costs incurred due to dishonoured cheques.
c) Buyer will incur legal costs for any overdue monies passed to our insurance company for collection.

RISK

Risk of damage to the goods shall pass to the Buyer after acceptance of the delivery and upon collection.

TITLE / OWNERSHIP

a) Title in ownership of the goods shall not pass to the Buyer until the invoiced price has been paid in full to the Seller. b) Until the title has passed the Buyer shall hold the goods as baillee for the Seller.
c) Notwithstanding the terms of this clause the Buyer may sell or deliver the goods to a third party in the ordinary course of the Buyer’s business andthe Buyer shall, in doing so, act as principle and not as the Seller’s agent. d) Until incorporation in other goods or the sale on by the Buyer, the Buyer will not remove the packaging on the goods nor mix the goods with other property but will keep the goods separate and clearly show the Seller’s ownership of them. e) The Buyer shall at the Seller’s request inform the Seller where the goods are stored and subsequent to a request shall immediately inform the Seller when the goods are moved.

PRICES

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.

CARRIAGE

Carriage within the mainland of Great Britain only is free of charge for all consignments of goods exceeding £200.00 net value. For smaller consignments carriage and packing will be charged at normal consignment rates.

DELIVERY SHORTAGE

In the event of delivery shortage no claim will be considered unless it is reported to Celtic Country Wines within 3 days of delivery.

DELIVERY DAMAGE

In the event of delivery damage no claim will be considered unless written notification is made within 24 hours of delivery. All deliveries must not be accepted if damaged

RETURNS

All returns must be arranged by contacting Celtic Country Wines who will arrange collection. Any items returned by the Buyer because they are no longer required or were ordered incorrectly by the Buyer will be subject to an administration charge per product and the cost of carriage shall not be refunded.

PURCHASE OF GOODS

Age restriction No person under the age of 18 years (for customers within the UK) may place an order for products containing alcahol

SALE OF GOODS

It is the buyers resppnsibility to sell the goods in accordance with the local athoritys regulations

PAYMENT OF GOODS

First order on Proforma basis, future orders to be paid within 28 days net of delivery. All payments will be taken automatically by Direct Debit through GoCardless on the due date of the invoice – you will be prompted to sign up for this through e-mail once your account is set up.
